Bells, Part III – The waves

Bells is such a long wave its actually split into three breaks; Rincon, The Bowl, and The Beach Break. The Bowl is the generally speaking the pick of the bunch but with the right conditions Rincon can be bloody good also. It’s been incredible to spend the better part of two¬† months stationed in the car park and watching its varying moods 10 hrs day. No two days seem the same and it changes dramatically with the tide but nonetheless it cranks! No wonder the worlds longest running surf competition is held here.

Thanks again to everyone at Surfing Victoria and Event Studios Australia for the opportunity and also the guys at Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park for squeezing us in for two months including over a fully booked Easter period.
